How can I disable the sony vaio start up sound? Not the windows start up, but the actual start up / power on sound / jingle that is the first thing you hear when you turn on a vaio.

I have a sony cyber shot dsc w120, its a fun camera, but im having trouble shooting pictures where the subject is moving fast. Does anyone have this camera? whats a good setting for sports pictures, and / or low light? I mainly want to use it for taking pictures of horses indoor, but the pics are always blurry! any suggestions, thanks!

I have a Sony Hi8 camcorder (the one with tape). How do I down load the video recordings on my Desktop PC. I use windows XP. I have only a cable to connect this camcorder to TV for playing the video.

I have custom firmware on my PSP and I just downloaded a game off of the Sony Store, I had to pay for it, now its telling me that I have to update to be able to play the game, but then I won’t have custom firmware and won’t be able to play homebrew games :( can anyone help please? it will be greatly appreciated.

Not everyone will pay 400$ or more for a game system. Sony should bring back one of the previous models of the PS3. In my opinion, if Sony brought back the 60 GB PS3, it could be priced at 300$, which means it’s the same price as an Xbox. Or if they brought back the 40 GB, it could be priced at 200 – 270 dollar zone. The only real reason the PS3 cost so much is because of the Blu-ray player.

I always see people with the transitions in their videos when the screen flashes black for like 1 second and it automatically goes to next part. How can I get Sony Vegas to make a black flash and not the white(or default) flash. help please!!!

Im purchasing a memory card for my mother. She has the SONY DSC W-100 digital camera, and i want to know what a good memory card is to buy her. Please, no memory cards over $40, however, nothing very cheap that isnt going to work or last. I need something that gets the job done, but works good also.
