Sony

I have a sony handycam DCR-HC28 and a new baby, so it’s important that my videos don’t stay on the little tape, therefore useless once the camera dies. I want to get them onto DVD. But I also want them on my computer. I conveniently lost all cables that came with it, ( i think it just came with an audio video cable though) AND the user manual. (don’t worry i’m more responsible with the baby than my tech gadgets). From what I can see, there is only one port on this video camera, and it says “DC in” and is where the charger connects, but is this the same port to be used for a firewire cable, (which I want to buy to transfer videos onto my computer) and an audio video cable so I can watch the home movies on my tv?
i have a compaq laptop that has a firewire port, but i do not have a dvd burner. however i do have access to an apple laptop that does. do i need two diff. firewire cables to be able to connect to both laptops? (I don’t have the apple here to look at)
as you can see- i don’t know a whole lot about what i’m doing and would love any help i could get.
thanks guys- i just found the other ports. i didn’t know they were there!! as you can see…i’m not one to read manuals. especially if i lose them :)

I have just purchased a Sony Vaio VGN CR13G/P and I can view my webcam but cannot broadcast it so that my friends/contacts can view. It keeps trying to connect but times out. It also keeps disabling the inbuilt camera and I have to restart my laptop to reactivate it. How can I fix this? Thank you to anyone who can help.

I just bought a Sony (NWZ-S615F) mp3 player and plugged it into my usb port on my Nextar car stereo but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there something I can do to fix or do some players just not work using usb port? Thanks.

I’ve heard that Sony lose money on every PS3 they make, just wondering how much they lose?

Do I have to purchase a disc from Sony now or can I download those drivers and set that stuff up again myself from online sources? Any help appreciated. The model is pcv-rx755. Thanks.

o.k the tape video recorder has a USB opening, i bought the USB cable but for some reason my laptop could not download the drivers because it’s not compatible with windows vista, o.k i tried the same thing with my old laptop windows 2000, i download the drivers form the sony website, the laptop recognize the hardware, but After that i don’t know what to do!

I also tried the S-video cable, but nothing happens when i connect the cable from the recorder to the laptop.

Please help!

I all ready have 4 sony xplods but I read on some reviews that they are weak so should I sell them? And what subs should I buy, 4 Pioneers, 4 Hifonics, 4 diesel audio, 4 audiobahn, or 4 kicker comps?
I allready have two amps a 1200 watt sony xplod and a 1400 watt pyle chopper series.

For example, how do I know about its date of manufacturing, whether it got repaired or not, or whether it got used or not. I know how to check Nokia. The code for Nokia is *#92702689*.
