Can I connect more powerful subwoofer to my SONY davdx150 home theater system?
I am pretty much a newbie when it comes to home theater system. I love home theater system sound, especially bass, but my knowledge on such field is very limited. All those sound terms, ratings, and measurements really confuses me. Anyway, I have a Sony DAVDX150 home theater system that is rated at 800watts. Its subwoofer is only rated at 130watts. Compared to my Bose lifestlye 12 system, which I don’t own anymore, Sony DAVDX150 is pretty crappy. Importantly, I hardly get any bass out of this thing. So, I have been wondering if I can buy a subwoofer that is over 350watts(somewhere I heard Bose’s subwoofer is 350watts, So I want something around or over 350watts) and connect it to my Sony. Firstly, is it possible to do that? Do I need amplifiers? How to connect?
Thanks for the responses!
What cell phone should I purchase from Sony Ericsson?
I want one of the best Sony can offer, since I like them so much. I was looking at the S500i, and I thought it was amazing with its stylish lighting and unique look. But, I found out it’s not available for AT&T(I think). Anyway, I just want the perfect phone that looks great, sounds great, takes pictures great, and is overall great! Thank you for your time.
Honestly is it worth buying a blu-ray player for a 32 inch sony bravia?
For a 32 inch sony bravia 720p is it worth spending the cash for the quality? Or should i just stick with my sd dvd player?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ya i have the money to spend on it i just want to know if the quality will be worth it. I dont want to be wasting money so im asking for advice. If not id rather spend the money on something else.
What’s the best way to compress mini-dvd video from my Sony camcorder for posting on the web?
I have a Sony camcorder that records directly to mini-dvd. It has no firewire or USB interface, so the only option I have is to rip it and compress. What would be the best way for me to compress it. I’m looking for overall “good” results, including reasonable file size, decent playback quality, as well as a reasonably easy process to accomplish it all.
Thx a bunch!
